Head of Operations

Hired

Someone the founders could hand operations over to.

Earthing Harmony had grown into an eight-figure ecommerce business with manufacturing across several countries. But too much of the day-to-day still ran through the founders: inventory, supply chain and the decisions connecting them.

The Head of Operations was hired to take on that responsibility. The handover continued after the hire, with the founders staying involved as he took on more of the work.

They needed a Head of Operations who could take that responsibility on and build the systems around it. Experience managing logistics was only part of the brief. The person had to see how demand, stock and delivery affected each other, then make decisions without bringing every question back to the founders.

We searched across Eastern Europe, South Africa and Latin America. Conversations focused on how people had handled unclear briefs, connected workflows and fixed systems that weren’t working. We identified the eventual hire early in the search.

Founder feedback

He knows more about operations than we do. That’s exactly what we need.

Founder feedback

Her long-form storytelling and eye for the visuals really stood out to us.

CRO

Hired

A conversion hire who understood the offer and the stack.

ClarityMD needed someone who could take responsibility for conversion. That meant understanding the offer, the customer journey and the platform the business was already using: Checkout Champ.

The search came down to what candidates had actually done in a comparable business. We looked at their platform experience, the commercial decisions they had made and the results they could explain. A portfolio on its own left too much unanswered.

Founder feedback

He’s been excellent so far. We’re really happy with the hire, and he’s already improving how we structure CRO.

Account Executive

Hired

Sales judgment, not a cruise industry CV.

Cruise Industry News needed an Account Executive who could sell advertising and build lasting commercial relationships. They wanted someone from outside the cruise industry. The sector could be learned; listening, following through and earning a client’s trust had to be there already.

[Candidate] was hired. Their profile later became the reference point for another search with the client.

We introduced [Candidate], whose experience combined account growth with B2B sales. In our conversations, they walked through discovery calls, long sales cycles, follow-ups and contract preparation. They had also worked in Pipedrive, the CRM used by the client.

We looked closely at what they had handled themselves and where a manager still made the final decision. Their reason for moving mattered too: they wanted more room to make decisions, build relationships and take responsibility for the work.
