For the people behind DTC brands

Let your next opportunity
start with what you’ve done.

Scout is being built to connect DTC experience with founder needs. Show the brands you’ve worked with, the problems you’ve solved and the work you want next. Help founders understand your contribution before a conversation begins.

Your experience. Your preferences.
You decide what fits.

The work you’ve done is the connection.

Your experience

“I turned customer research into creative angles and ad briefs.”

The brand, your decisions, the briefs you owned and what changed. More than “creative strategist” on a profile.

A relevant founder need

“Our ads repeat product benefits. We need someone who understands our customers.”

The aim is to make relevant experience visible, so a founder can understand your contribution before a conversation begins.

Illustrative examples, not live roles or candidate profiles.

  1. 01

    Tell the full story.

Share your brands, projects and contribution, plus availability and the setup you want next.

  2. 02

Be considered for the right problem.

Scout is being built to connect that context with a founder’s specific bottleneck.

  3. 03

Decide if it’s right for you.

If you’re invited to discuss an opportunity, consider the scope and working relationship before taking the next step.

Who is Scout for?

People with DTC work they can explain and stand behind. Creative, growth, retention, operations and the functions that help a brand run.

Independent operators, contractors and small agencies can join. Tell us whether you want full-time, fractional, project work or a multi-client setup.

Already booked? You can still share what you would consider next. Keep confidential brands anonymous.

0% commission.

Scout takes no commission on your earnings. Your usual taxes and any separately agreed payment provider fees still apply.

What happens after I join?

Your early access submission is private. C reviews candidates and decides who to vet and invite to claim a Scout profile. You are not automatically vetted or published by signing up. Joining does not guarantee an introduction or a role.

Can I keep client work confidential?

Yes. Use the confidential brand option and describe your contribution without sharing information or work you do not have permission to disclose.

A note from C.

If we’ve spoken, or traded messages, you’ve probably heard me talk about this.

I open a LinkedIn profile and see “freelance creative strategist.” Ten years of work, reduced to a line. Which brands? What did you own? Was it a project, a part time relationship, or a full time contractor setup? What changed because you were there?

Then you walk into an interview and explain it all from the beginning, to someone who still can’t see the full picture.

You shouldn’t have to start from zero every time.

LinkedIn gives us a baseline. I want Scout to give you the space to show the work behind it, in your words, with the context founders need to understand you.

I’m building this solo, but I don’t want to build it without you. The build has started. I’m aiming to begin early tests over the next couple of weeks. We’ll work closely, there will be things to fix, and your feedback will shape what comes next.

We can build something where you feel heard, represented and seen. This is about you.
